KART RACE SUPPORT IN THE UK
Kart Team support is a Saltire Motorsport speciality.
Having raced at an International level in Formula E it became quickly apparent that the most difficult part of Kart Racing is gain knowledge FAST.
You can try to gain speed by asking people, and hope that the advice is correct. You can purchase all types of parts and equipment to hopefully gain speed. You can listen to all the pit experts that say it costs too much to be with a team
Or, you can rely on a team that has been in Karting for 40 Years and has raced in World, European, and many British Championships. In simple terms when you begin Karting or when you are trying to improve at whatever level, good advice is very hard to find.
Saltire Motorsport offer Support in 3 Formats:
Basic Team Support (Mainly Club Events and NKRA)
Normally 2 days
Team support is transport of kart to an event, awning provided with space and a work bench, trolley. Use of Air, cleaning materials, chain Lube, brake cleaner etc
Tea / Coffee also provided
Advice with gearing, chassis set up, tips on driving etc.
(a small discount may be available if driver transports own equipment)
Super 1 Team Support
Normally 3 days
Super 1 is a very competitive environment, probably the last step before Motor Racing for many budding young driver. Therefore it is crucial that the correct advice is given and coaching to achieve the maximum result possible.
Team Support for Super 1 is as above with the inclusion of greater coaching and time spent over a 3 day period.
Super 1 Team Support - with Kart Option
As above with the further option of a team kart supplied for use of Season.
Kart will be available to be used at any other club event which Saltire Motorsport is present Free of Charge. Kart will be monitored and team will change kart if required at no extra cost.
